Excellent guide having a passion and extraordinary knowledge of her city and the Louvre. In winter not long lines anywhere but it helped to be ushered through. The enormity of the Louvre is something that cannot easily be comprehended. I have visited Paris maybe a dozen times since 1979 and this is the first time I have been into the Louvre generally because I have had time on the wrong day of the week or the staff have been on strike

This tour was excellent! If only just to skip the lines it was well worth it but the guide-Walter-was fantastic. So much knowledge and passion imparted on us and he really ensured we saw the best highlights of the museum- both the touristy and non-touristy ones. This was definitely the highlight of our trip and we will do the same again!

The starting point was in a convenient location. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a perfect way to see the highlights of the Louvre.

I definitely would do this again. Plan on 2 days for the Louvre, it is THAT good. And our tour guide was delightful! She knew every answer to our question (there were only 7 of us..a great size group) and she really seemed to enjoy what she did. I highly recommend taking the guided tour...you will learn so much more.

This guided tour was EXCELLENT!! The tour guide had so much information and answered all questions we had. She was GREAT!! My husband and I LOVED the tour!!

I gave this tour five stars however there was too much confusion around the meeting place.

You are asked to confirm this tour and when I called they advised me to meet at the little pyramid near the Louvre, different to what the voucher states. From reading other reviews we did not meet the group at the pyramid and went to the Cityrama Tours office instead. We were then told we were at the wrong office and that we needed to be at another Cityrama Tours office where the tour group starts. The person we spoke to gave us wrong directions and what should have been a one minute walk turned into a half an hour walk (luckily we left early). We then found the correct place which was off in a corner on Rue Des Pyramides. After we checked in we had to wait extra time for other participants who also had trouble finding the meeting place.

The tour itself was fantastic. The guide we had was very knowledgeable and made sure the group was together at all times. We saw the main artworks and statues, and I felt we spent just enough time at each piece and the guide provided extensive commentary on each of these. There are stairs however the walking was well paced and I didn’t feel rushed. You are also given the option to stay in the Louvre once the tour concludes. I would recommend this tour to anyone as it was just finding the meeting place a hassle. On a side note, make sure you wear comfortable shoes!
